The Teesside Empowerment Group seeks to enhance men's mental health and promote healthy eating by creating a supportive community where men can share their experiences and access valuable resources. Understanding the unique challenges men face regarding mental health stigma and inadequate nutritional habits, the project will focus on raising awareness about mental health symptoms, risk factors, and treatment options, while also educating participants about the importance of balanced diets. By organising interactive workshops, webinars, and informational sessions, we aim to equip men with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster mental well-being and adopt healthier eating practices. Our project is particularly committed to reaching men from ethnic minorities and all backgrounds, who may face additional barriers in accessing mental health and nutritional support.
